Short Meditation To Calm Your Day
Put your hand over the heart area and breathe without any force. With each breath, your breathing will be longer and deeper. Breathe out and you will feel that your eyelids are heavier until you close your eyes gently and without any force. Continue breathing, deep breaths in and count up to 5, and exhale for as long as it takes to count up to 5. You will feel your heart rate has calmed and you feel peaceful. Your whole body experiences peace and calmness. When you establish your breath rhythm you can gently open your eyes. Try to continue your day with the same feeling of calmness you achieved during the meditation. If you continue and repeat this short exercise, you will establish a habit and your heart will recognize your intention.
